OH, NO, NOT AGAIN! Love the photos especially the one in Ethiopian formal attire and the last one of David & Eliza. But what are you going to do with that girl and her hair?
ReplyDeleteYou're right, this haircut is worse -- were you able to do anything with it? Or is it just going to have to grow out! I guess scissors are going to be off limits for Eliza for awhile?? Thanks for all the photos, they are great!

The middle front half of her hair was tied back on top, so she cut the sides. There are bald spot on both sides. I keep thinking skater dude hairstyle of McDaniel Burbank when we were 14. There's not much else you can do with it but shave it up, back and sides... Need to urgently make an appointment to do SOMETHING with it before her bday party!
ReplyDeleteDid she cut her friend's hair too? You wrote "their hair". That would not be a very good birthday present indeed! Hope the Mommy still lets them be friends :)
ReplyDeleteShe is going to have some stories to tell when she gets older! I think she may have even passed me up. How did you end up with my child???
Eliza cut their hair the next Friday when we had her over for a play-date. We couldn't tell at first that her friend's hair had been cut. Eliza said she had just trimmed a little, but I couldn't see any missing chunks. She had her long hair in two braids, which luckily enough had been left alone. They went swimming, so her hair was wet when she was picked up. But I got a call later from the mom who was upset - her daughter had now had bangs that weren't there before. I felt awful. It has been a mini-scandal amongst our circle. But what can you do?
