Pixie-Do

Eliza's hair grows slowly. The sides she cut to the scalp in early October are still less than an inch long, but the top was getting too heavy to hold back in barrettes. So we went for the pixie girl look. That said, Eliza has no concerns about her hair. She's got it in her head that no matter what her hair looks like, she's beautiful!

    And of course, she IS beautiful!! Not everyone can wear their hair in a pixie cut - trust me, I know from experience. Her haircut will probably start a new Harare trend with all the little girls who can talk mothers into it. Remember Padgett!

    As well she should -- because she is. Hope that perception will follow her well into her adulthood. There's so much to be said about how one feels about oneself and feeling beautiful is a big part of that. You are a beautiful pixie, Eliza!! Love, Grammy

    oh, her hair is so cute! I love the shot of her with david, asserting that she does indeed have him wrapped around her finger.
